LOAD BANK TESTING

Load testing your back-up power systems is a vital part of preventative maintenance.

Using Mobile Resistive Load Banks, we can simulate a real electrical load to test your standby power equipment to their full capabilities.

These types of tests are carried out during the commissioning stages to ensure all control and electrical parameters are met prior to the equipment being put into live operation

Load bank testing ensures that your generator performs to its full load without interrupting business operations, and reducing the risk of a power failure.

Testing is performed at different stages of the genset life cycle, starting with a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). The optimal follow up would be to perform a Site Acceptance Test (SAT) of the component systems during the commissioning phase.

Routine maintenance and annual load bank testing of your generator is highly recommended to:

  • Increase reliability of your power systems;
  • Reduce maintenance costs; and
  • Increase engine efficiency & lifespan.

Our Engineers can carry out these tests and provide you with detailed reports on completion which will indicate the condition of your standby equipment.
