In 2006, JCB announced the launch of JCB Power Products, a generator division to manufacturer and provide power generation solutions worldwide. A division of the larger JCB Group, JCB Power Products has two manufacturing facilities, one in the UK and a site in India, producing a range of high specification generators with outputs from 8kVA through to 2,750kVA. JCB Power Products manufactures four main generator lines, designed to meet prime applications in construction, mining, agricultural and rental sectors, as well as back-up power supply for commercial facilities, hospitals, offices, and datacentres. These ranges include the Standard range with outputs of 8kVA to 720kVA, the Premier range delivering 700kVA to 2750kVA and a high specification rental range from 19kVA to 1,250kVA. To complete the range JCB Power Products also produces the innovative Inteli-Hybrid range to offer alternative power source generators.
