How long do batteries last?
Even after 2000 full charge and discharge cycles (expected to be over 7 years) the batteries still have over 85% of their capacity left.
Can it be used indoors/outdoors?
With zero emissions and zero noise coupled to a robust enclosure, the JCB power pack is suitable for use either indoors or outdoors.
Can I connect to a 3 phase system?
The JCB Electric Power Pack 1.25QE and 1.50QE models are designed to support a single phase load. 3Phase models are being released shortly.
How much power is available?
The peak output from the 1.25QE or 1.50QE is 8kW
How long will the charge last?
This will depend on the load. The 1.25QE has a useable capacity of 23kWhr, so if a load of 2kW is applied then there this can be sustained for 11.5 hours, if the load applied is 5.75kW then this run time will be reduced to 4 hours.
How can I recharge it?
The JCB Electric Power Pack can be recharged from any single phase supply - mains, mobile power or optionally by solar panels. When coupled with a generator, the system makes a hybrid power source. The Electric Power Pack can send a start signal to the generator to start up and recharge it, once recharged, the generator will shut off again.
